In an industry where a reputation for being ethical is absolutely everything, for well over 10 years our exacting Eastern suburbs customers have demanded very high standards indeed. We love it that way. Our focus has always been on matching the very best pets and Rescue Pets, with the right owners. The welfare of all our pets is always our number one priority.
Our Re-homing of over 1,600 Rescue Pets
We have voluntarily re-homed over 1,600 Rescue Pets (and counting!) from shelters, carers and veterinarians, including many elderly and special-needs pets that are exceedingly difficult for them to re-home.
Our Lifetime Re-homing Guarantee
One of the reasons we have earned our reputation as an highly ethical pet store is our voluntary Lifetime Re-homing Guarantee. If any of the pets or Rescue Pets adopted through our store need re-homing, we’ll find them a wonderful home. So in 5 years time if you do unforeseeably get posted to Bolivia and you cannot take your pet, we will find a new loving household (some animal welfare conditions apply).
Our Staff
Our small business is not part of a retail chain. We are a single, Aussie-owned, independent store, the only one our boss owns.
Our staff are weirdly-obsessed animal lovers as they have forgone other opportunities in life to work with pets and Rescue Pets. All our staff are highly trained and are employed first and foremost on their dedication to animal welfare.
All our animals at home enrich our lives. We think it’s a wonderful thing if we can ethically share this experience with you, so you can love a pet and they can love you back.
